Let’s face it, carving out time for a complete manicure can feel like a luxury in our fast-paced world. Traditional polish, while offering endless color options, often comes with lengthy drying times, the constant threat of chipping, and the inevitable removal process that can be messy and damaging to your nails.

Our nail wraps offer a game-changing solution for busy beauty enthusiasts. Here’s why they deserve a spot in your beauty routine:

Time- Saving

Forget the hours spent waiting for the polish to dry or meticulously apply multiple coats. Nail wraps are pre-designed and ready to apply in minutes. Simply peel, stick, and file for a salon-worthy finish without the wait.

Long-Lasting

Unlike polish, which chips and peels within days, nail wraps boast an impressive wear time. Depending on the brand and application technique, you can enjoy flawless nails for up to two weeks, free from the worry of chipping or smudging.

Endless Designs

If you crave variety and love experimenting with different nail art looks, nail wraps are your new best friend. Unlike the limited color and design options of traditional nail polish bottles, the world of nail wraps offers an insane amount of designs! From classic French manicures to intricate floral patterns, bold geometric shapes, and even animal art and holographic finishes - there’s a nail wrap design to suit every mood, outfit, and occasion. No artistic skills are required - simply peel, stick, and flaunt your unique style.

INTEGRATING NAIL WRAPS INTO YOUR ROUTINE

Nail wraps are a fantastic way to achieve salon-quality nails without the expense of regular salon visits. Whether you're a busy professional, a stay-at-home parent, or someone who simply loves beautiful nails, integrating nail wraps into your daily routine can be a game-changer.

Now, let’s delve into how you can effortlessly incorporate nail wraps into your daily routine.

If you’re a morning person, prepping your nail wraps will give you that extra boost to start the day! Add your nail wrap application to your morning agenda, enjoy beautiful nails, and be ready for any meetings or tasks throughout the day. 🌞

On the other hand, making it a part of your evening routine can sure be relaxing. Cool down and calm your mind and senses while enjoying your nail wraps. Relax and end the day with gorgeous nails as you watch your favorite TV show or listen to a podcast.

Lastly, in-between touch-ups are a must, too! Dedicate a specific me-time day for nail wrap maintenance. Indulge and pamper your nails by giving them some TLC. Trust us, it’s definitely worth it! 💗

Morning:

Cleansing: Use a gentle facial cleanser suited to your skin type (e.g., foaming for oily skin, hydrating for dry skin).

Toning: Apply a toner with ingredients like witch hazel or rose water to balance pH levels and tighten pores.

Serum: Optionally, apply a serum with antioxidants or hyaluronic acid to target specific skin concerns (e.g., anti-aging, hydration).

Moisturizing: Use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer with SPF 30 or higher for daytime protection.

Sun Protection: Finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen to shield against UV rays.

Night:

Makeup Removal: Start with a makeup remover or cleansing oil to dissolve makeup.

Double Cleansing: Follow up with a facial cleanser to ensure all makeup and impurities are removed.

Exfoliation (2-3 times a week): Use a gentle exfoliant to slough off dead skin cells and promote skin renewal.

Treatment: Apply any treatment products like retinoids or acne creams as recommended.

Moisturizing: Use a richer night cream or moisturizer to hydrate and repair skin overnight.

The Lily and Fox Routine

1. Prep for perfection

- Clean hands: Wash your hands with soap and water to remove any oils or residue.

- Shape nails: Gently file your nails to your desired shape.

- Push cuticles: Push back your cuticles for a clean and polished look.

2. Apply a base coat (Optional)

Applying a base coat is optional but highly recommended as they are effective for protecting the nails and helping the wraps adhere better to the nails.

3. Apply the nail wraps

- Choose the nail wrap size that best fits each finger.

- Carefully place the wrap on your nail, aligning it with your cuticle. Gently press down to ensure a smooth application.

- Using the included nail file, gently buff away any excess wrap from the tip of your nail.

4. Leave it on to let the wraps adhere better

Pro Tip! Apply your wraps before bed. This allows them to fully adhere while you sleep.

5. Apply top coat

In the morning, apply a layer of top coat for added shine and extended wear.

Explore and experiment with your unique nail wraps style

Nail wraps are more than just a convenient way to achieve salon-worthy nails. They're a vibrant canvas for expressing your unique style and letting your personality shine through your fingertips. Unlike traditional polish, our nail wraps offer a world of possibilities with our endless designs.

A Spectrum of Self-Expression: From elegant florals to edgy metallics, and playful patterns to minimalist chic, there's a nail wrap design to match every mood and aesthetic. Don't feel confined to conventional nail colors—explore holographic finishes, animal prints, or even colors you wouldn’t normally pick for yourself!

Embrace the Unexpected: Ever dreamed of rocking a galaxy on your fingertips or sporting flames that never go out? Nail wraps make it possible! They offer the chance to experiment with bold designs and conversation-starting looks that wouldn't be possible with traditional polish.

Temporary Commitment, Big Impact: The beauty of nail wraps lies in their temporary nature. You’re not feeling a design at the moment? Simply remove it and try something new! This allows you to explore different styles without the commitment of a permanent manicure.

Mix and Match Magic: Combine different nail wraps to create your own unique masterpiece. Accent solid color wraps with glitter stripes, or use leftover pieces for nail art accents on other fingers.

A Reflection of You: Your nails are an extension of your personality, so let them tell your story! Coordinate your nail wraps with your outfit for a cohesive look, or choose a design that reflects your current mood or interests.

Common Problems When Applying Nail Wraps and How to Solve Them

Nail Wrap Application for Nail Art Beginners

Problem: Nail art beginners may find it difficult to achieve neat and professional-looking results with nail wraps.

Solution: Start with simpler nail wrap designs and gradually progress to more intricate patterns as you gain experience. Take your time to read and follow the application instructions provided with the nail wraps. Watch tutorials or seek guidance from nail art communities to learn tips and techniques for applying nail wraps effectively. Practice regularly to improve your skills and confidence in creating beautiful nail art with wraps.

Nail Wrap Application on Dominant Hand

Problem: Applying nail wraps on your dominant hand can be more challenging and may result in less precise application.

Solution: Take your time and practice patience when applying nail wraps to your dominant hand. Start with the less dominant hand first to gain confidence and refine your technique. Use tools such as tweezers, nail wrap applicators, or nail art brushes to aid in the precise placement and smoothing of the wraps. Focus on applying gentle and even pressure to ensure the wraps adhere smoothly and evenly.

Nail Wrap Application on Natural Nail Ridges

Problem: Nail wraps may not adhere smoothly to nails with natural ridges, resulting in an uneven appearance.

Solution: Before applying nail wraps, gently buff the surface of the nails to smooth out any ridges. Ensure the nails are clean and free from any oils or residue. Apply the nail wrap carefully, pressing it down firmly to ensure it adheres evenly. Use a cuticle pusher or an orange stick to smooth out the wrap and ensure it conforms to the natural contours of the nail.

Nail Wrap Application in Hot or Humid Environments

Problem: Applying nail wraps in hot or humid environments can affect the adhesion and application process.

Solution: Choose a cool and dry environment for applying nail wraps to prevent premature drying or adherence issues. If necessary, use a fan or air conditioner to create a more comfortable working environment. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources, as these can affect the flexibility and adhesion of the nail wraps. Work quickly but carefully during application to minimize exposure to humidity and ensure the wraps adhere smoothly.

Nail Wrap Application in Cold Weather

Problem: Applying nail wraps in cold weather can affect the flexibility and adhesion of the wraps.

Solution: Warm the nail wraps slightly with a hairdryer on low heat before application to increase their flexibility. Work in a warm and comfortable environment to prevent the wraps from becoming stiff or difficult to manipulate. Ensure the nails are dry and free from any moisture or condensation before applying the wraps. Use gentle pressure to smooth out the wraps and ensure they adhere securely to the nails.

Bubbles or Wrinkles

Problem: Air bubbles or wrinkles can appear during application, making the nail wraps look uneven.

Solution: Ensure that you apply the nail wrap smoothly from the center towards the edges, pressing out any bubbles or wrinkles gently with a cuticle pusher or your fingers. If bubbles persist, carefully lift the wrap and reapply, smoothing it out as you go.

Lifting Edges

Problem: The edges of the nail wraps may lift prematurely, leading to potential peeling or premature wear.

Solution: Properly prep your nails by cleaning them thoroughly and pushing back your cuticles. Ensure the wraps adhere well by pressing firmly around the edges and using a nail file to gently seal the wrap around the nail edge. Applying a top coat can also help seal the edges and prolong wear.

Incorrect Sizing

Problem: Nail wraps may not fit properly, either being too large or too small for your nail.

Solution: Before applying, carefully select the nail wrap that best fits each nail. If a wrap is slightly too large, you can trim it with small scissors or nail clippers after application. Conversely, if it's too small, consider using a larger size or adjusting its position during application.

Uneven Application

Problem: The nail wrap may apply unevenly, resulting in an unsightly finish.

Solution: Take your time during application to ensure each wrap is applied smoothly and evenly. Start from the base of the nail and gently stretch the wrap to fit without pulling excessively, which can distort the design or cause it to tear. Use a cuticle pusher or an orange stick to help smooth out the wrap and ensure it adheres evenly.

Difficulty in Removal

Problem: Nail wraps can sometimes be challenging to remove, especially if they've been worn for an extended period.

Solution: To remove nail wraps, gently lift a corner using an orange stick or cuticle pusher and peel them off slightly and carefully. Soaking a cotton ball in nail polish remover and holding it on the nail wrap for a few seconds can help loosen the adhesive. Avoid pulling forcefully, as this can damage your natural nails.

Adhesion Issues

Problem: Nail wraps may not adhere well to the nail surface, leading to premature lifting.

Solution: Ensure your nails are clean and free of any oils or lotions before application. Use a nail prep solution or rubbing alcohol to cleanse the nail surface thoroughly. Press the nail wraps firmly onto each nail and apply gentle heat using a hairdryer on low heat to help activate the adhesive for better adhesion.

Visible Nail Line

Problem: The natural nail line or imperfections underneath the nail wrap are still visible after application.

Solution: Choose a nail wrap that provides good coverage and opacity to minimize any visible imperfections. If the natural nail line is still visible, you can apply a colored base coat underneath that matches the nail wrap design/color.

Nail Wrap Too Thick or Bulky

Problem: The nail wrap may feel too thick or bulky on the nail, making it uncomfortable or prone to catching.

Solution: Trim the excess nail wrap carefully after application using small scissors or nail clippers. File the edges gently to smooth them out and ensure a comfortable fit. Avoid applying too many layers of top coat, as this can add thickness and contribute to a bulky feel.

Nail Wrap Removal Leaving Residue

Problem: Removing nail wraps can sometimes leave behind adhesive residue or stains on the nails.

Solution: To dissolve any leftover adhesive, use a gentle nail polish remover or adhesive remover specifically formulated for nail wraps. Soak a cotton ball or pad in the remover and hold it on the nail wrap for a few seconds before gently wiping away the residue. Avoid scraping or forcefully removing the nail wrap, as this can damage the nail surface.

Difficulty in Matching Nail Wrap Designs

Problem: Matching the design or pattern of nail wraps across all nails can be challenging, resulting in inconsistencies.

Solution: Plan your application strategy in advance by selecting nail wraps that complement each other in terms of design or color scheme. Lay out all the wraps beforehand to ensure they match closely before applying. If necessary, trim or adjust the wraps during application to achieve a cohesive and uniform look across all nails.

Nail Wrap Shrinking or Distorting

Problem: The nail wrap may shrink or distort during application, altering the intended design or pattern.

Solution: Handle the nail wraps gently and avoid stretching or pulling them excessively during application. Use steady and even pressure to smooth out the nail wrap onto the nail surface. If the wrap begins to shrink or distort, carefully lift and reposition it, applying gentle heat with a hair dryer to help soften the adhesive and adjust the wrap as needed.

Difficulty in Applying on Short Nails

Problem: It can be challenging to apply nail wraps neatly on short nails, as there is less surface area to work with.

Solution: Choose nail wraps that are specifically designed for shorter nails or trim larger wraps to fit shorter nail lengths. Cut the wraps into smaller pieces if necessary and apply them strategically to cover the entire nail surface. Use a cuticle pusher or an orange stick to smooth out the wraps and ensure they adhere well around the edges of short nails.

Nail Wrap Removal Causing Nail Damage

Problem: Removing nail wraps may cause damage to the natural nails, such as peeling or weakening.

Solution: Use a gentle nail polish remover or adhesive remover specifically formulated for nail wraps to dissolve the adhesive without harshly scraping or pulling on the nails. Soak a cotton ball or pad in the remover and hold it on the nail wrap for a few seconds to loosen the adhesive before gently lifting and removing the wrap. Moisturize your nails and cuticles after removal to keep them hydrated and healthy.

Nail Wrap Application on Short, Bitten, or Damaged Nails

Problem: Applying nail wraps to short, bitten, or damaged nails can present challenges in achieving a smooth and even application.

Solution: Trim the nail wraps to fit the shorter nail length or damaged areas, ensuring they cover the entire nail surface without overlapping the skin. Gently buff and smooth out the nail surface to create a more even base before applying the wraps. Press the wraps firmly onto the nails and use a cuticle pusher or an orange stick to tuck the edges neatly around the cuticles. Apply a top coat to seal and protect the nail wrap, providing additional strength to shorter or damaged nails.

Nail Wrap Storage and Longevity

Problem: Storing nail wraps improperly or for extended periods can affect their adhesive quality and longevity.

Solution: To maintain their adhesive properties, store nail wraps in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the wraps in their original packaging or in a sealed container to prevent exposure to air and humidity. Use nail wraps within their recommended shelf life to ensure optimal performance and adherence during application.

How long do nail wraps last and how can I make them last longer?

You can enhance the longevity of your beautiful nails from 1-2 weeks to a fantastic 3-4 weeks simply by using a top coat (though it's totally optional). Plus, with our patented high-gloss wraps, your nails will radiate breathtaking beauty without even needing a top coat!

Do you have recommended base coats and top coats?

You can use your favorite base and top coats, as long as they are not quick-drying. Quick-drying products can make your natural nails dry out faster, and we definitely don’t want that.

We like Orly Bonder Rubberized Base Coat or Sally Hansen Hard as Nails for the base coats.

Use Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Or Essie Platinum Grade Finish Top Coats.

Remember not to use a top coat as a base coat. Top coats are meant to be thicker and take longer to dry.

I follow a beauty routine. When is it best to apply the nail wraps so they don’t fall off?

While you can apply the nail wraps any time you’d like or after your prep is done, we recommend applying them at night either before you start your beauty routine. It’s important for your nails to be free from moisture so they can completely adhere to your nails.

It would be super helpful for everyone else if we could share what works best for our own nails with each other! From here, we all can learn a thing or two about different methods that we probably never thought of before 😃
